Every single time you light your candle, trim the wick to ¼ inch or less. This helps to reduce the amount of soot that is formed. Once lit, make sure you burn your candle for at least 2 hours to ensure that a full melt pool has been reached. A full melt pool allows the scent to completely disperse throughout the room and also ensures that your candle will burn to the very bottom of the jar. For your safety, remember to always burn your candle away from moving air and flammable objects!

Every candle from Currently Co. is hand-poured in small baches in my home studio in West Des Moines, Iowa. I use all-natural soy wax, cotton wicks + phthalate-free fragrance oils. These small batch candles provide clean-burning with no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants. You can feel good about burning a Currently Co. candle!

Shipping is a flat rate of $7 per order. No matter how many candles you order, the rate remains at $7.

Yes and it is free! Upon checkout, if you live in Iowa, you can select your shipping preference of either flat-rate shipping or pickup. After your order is placed, we will email you and schedule a pickup time that works for you. Feel free to email us at CurrentlyCandles@gmail.com to expedite the pick-up.

Absolutely! We already partner with multiple local businesses to customize their own signature candles. Contact us to begin your journey in creating your own custom candle. Check out our Gallery to view some custom candles we have produced. If you would like to create one of your own, fill out the form under the Wholesale + Custom tab.

You can sign-up for our monthly candle subscription by purchasing it under the Shop tab. Once you have signed-up for the subscription, you will automatically receive a new, boxed candle during the first week of each month. You can contact me at CurrentlyCandles@gmail.com to pause or cancel your subscription anytime.

When you check-out, you can select ADD A NOTE + write your custom message. I’ll include your message on a note inside the package. Gifting made easy!! Just make sure you provide the recipient’s shipping address rather than your’s.
